Cold weather baseball/softball is typically unique to most northeastern state ball players. While fall baseball/softball has been becoming increasingly popular, baseball/softball practice in the winter has only been enjoyed by the diehards and those fortunate enough to work out at places like the Hitting Machine. More and more indoor youth sports facilities are cropping up, typically catering to indoor soccer or lacrosse. The Hitting Machine is different.
