 Joe Milazzo

Coach Milazzo began his coaching career at Notre Dame High School in 1981, returning to ND in 2002 spent 9 seasons with them.  Between stints at Notre Dame, he had very successful runs at Herkimer County Community College and Mohawk Valley Community College.

His first stint as Head Coach at Notre Dame High School lasted nine seasons. His teams compiled an overall record of 146-54, winning three Central Oneida League Championships, three Tri-Valley League Championships, four Section III Championships. The 1982, 85, and 86 teams made appearances in the New York State Final Four Tournament. In 1990, Coach Milazzo left ND to become the Head Coach at Herkimer County Community College. Although his tenure at HCCC lasted only one year, he certainly left his mark. He lead the Generals to its first ever post-season NJCAA appearance, making a run that ended in Region III Final Four.

The following year, 1991 he became the head coach at Mohawk Valley Community College. He enjoyed much success at MVCC. He compiled a record of 174-122, including Mountain Valley Conference Championships in 7 of his 12 years. His MVCC teams made 11 NJCAA post-season appearances, and five Region III Final Four appearances. In 1993 and 1995, the Hawks were crowned Region III Champions for the first time in school history. These two teams went on to play in the NJCAA Division III World Series.

In 2002, Coach Milazzo returned to Notre Dame HS as an assistant coach. No stranger to winning, he helped lead the perennial power Jugglers to, two Section III championships, and in 2005 the team won the Class C New York State High School Championship. Now you can find Coach Milazzo where he is most comfortable the hitting cages at Mohawk Valley Community College.  Coach Milazzo will work with the MVCC as a special hitting instructor for this upcoming season.

Coach Milazzo brings 30 years of successful coaching and teaching experience to the Hitting Machine. He specializes in hitting and infield play.

 

 Dave Muraco

Coach Muraco was born and raised on Central New York Baseball he understands the importance of staying on track in the off season.  With over 17 years of coaching under his belt at levels ranging  from Modified High School baseball to Junior College baseball he has truly seen it all. 

Through those past 17 years he has been with Notre Dame High School 1993 Modifed Head Coach,1994 Asst Varsity Coach, 2001 Head JV Coach and Assistant Coach with the Varsity Class C state Championship Team and then spent the last 5 season as Head JV Coach.  Coach Muraco was also Head Assistant Coach for Mohawk Valley Community College 1996,1997 and Head Coach for the Hawks in 1998. 

With his unbridled passion for empowering players to reach their peak potential, Coach Muraco has been apart of CNY and Hitting Machine Baseball Camps for all of the 16 years he has been coaching.  Coach Muraco played his high school baseball for Coach Milazzo's Notre Dame Jugglers in both 1989 and 1990. and was a  Unanimous selection at catcher for Tri-Valley All-star team his senior year.  Helping his team to a 21-3 record and an appearance in the Section III Final game.

Following high school Coach Muraco played his college baseball for Division I  NJCAA powerhouse Onondaga Community College.  In his 2 years with the OCC Braves Coach Muraco played on back to back Region III championship teams. 

Coach Muraco brings over 17 years of successful coaching experience to the Hitting Machine.  He specializes in Catching and Hitting Instruction. 

Ben Kimball

Coach Kimball played baseball at Bainbridge-Guilford High School (3 years varsity) as a pitcher, 1st baseman and outfielder. After high school Ben went on to play for the SUNY Brockport Eagles and anchored the pitching staff for 4 years. His senior season he went 9-1 with a 1.81 ERA leading the team in strikeouts and wins. That allowed him to be named 2nd Team All-American, which was only the second time in school history, the last coming in 1972. The Eagles went 34-15 and enjoyed their first ever trip to the DIII World Series in Wisconsin, ending up 5th in the country for that season.

Following his collegiate career Coach Kimball went on and played Professional baseball in Namur, Belgium and Brisbane, Australia where he played as a pitcher and 1st baseman. In his time there Coach Kimball got the coaching bug as he coached several 8-10 year old teams in which he lead one to a 1st place finishes in a baseball tournament in Italy.

After returning from Australia Ben spent two summers in Pennsylvania working at a sports camp coaching baseball and softball.  

Bob Cook (Owner Field of Dreams Sports Complex  

Bob played baseball at Notre Dame High School (3 years varsity) as a pitcher and middle infielder. He also played two years at MVCC as a pitcher and middle infielder. After two seasons with the Hawks Bob received a baseball scholarship to the University of New Haven where he was primarily a pitcher and backup middle infielder. After two seasons with the New Haven Chargers, Bob signed a professional contract with the Adirondack Lumberjacks of the Northeast League. Bob is also certified as a baseball coach through New York State and Doyle Baseball Academy. Bob has been a scout with the Cincinnati Red's for the last five years, is a Pro Scout/Consultant with National Sports Management and is a certified Personal trainer/ strength and conditioning coach through NSCA-CPT. 

Michael Donaldson

 Michael played the majority of his baseball down south in various competitive leagues throughout the state of Virginia.  In 2002 Michael was selected as a member of the Chesterfield Cavilers to play in the BIB (Boys Invitational Baseball) Tournament, that team went undefeated and captured the Tournaments 45th championship.  Michael was also a member of the AAU Power Virginia Breeze Baseball program which won numerous AAU, USSSA, and PONY Championships across the southeast.   Michael was selected to numerous all-star teams for several leagues in his career.  In 2005 Michael returned to his hometown of Utica NY to play both High School Baseball for Notre Dame and American Legion Baseball for Adrean Post.   In those 2 seasons Michael graduated from Notre Dame High School in 2007, lettering in Baseball his Junior and Senior Years. Michael was a part of both winning a County American Legion Championship with Adrean Post, and a NYSPHSAA Section III Championship with Notre Dame also.  Michael’s passion for the game was extremely strong, so after he finished playing the game he loved, he became a Certified Youth Sports Coach through the SUNY Youth Sports Institute.  Then in 2010 Michael began his coaching career at Notre Dame High School as assistant Head Coach at the Junior Varsity  level & Assistant Coach with former Legion Team Adrean Post.  Mike now is an Assistant Coach at Mohawk Valley Community College, he will be working primarily with Pitcher's and First Base.

Kim Spinks

Kim played travel Softball from age 9 to 18 and traveled across the country from Niagara Falls to the Rocky Mountains to the Pacific Ocean.  She played elite level (Gold) softball for 3 years and participated in numerous NFCA recruiting camps (placing in the top 5% of all participants).  In 2004 my High School softball team won the Virginia AAA State Championship (Stonewall Jackson High School -- Manassas, VA).   Even though she was  recruited by several larger schools (South Carolina, Virginia, Syracuse just to name a few)  Kim choose Division 1 Colgate University.  Kim had several amazing experiences at Colgate one being winning the Patriot League Champion (2007) and had also the opportunity to be in the starting lineup against Number 1 ranked Oklahoma.
